The World Finals are upon us as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car and Super Late Model series invade the Dirt Track at Charlotte. Friday Night there was some good racing from both the Sprint Cars and Super Late Models. As this is the closing race weekend for both series, all drivers are looking for a good weekend and are pushing it to the limit. Top Performances of the Night
1. Carson Macedo – With a dominant night, Carson Macedo was flawless, showcasing why he’s one of the top competitors in the series. Starting 1st in his heat, Macedo took the win and carried that momentum into the dash, where he started 2nd but quickly seized the lead, finishing 1st. In the feature race, Macedo maintained his dominance, starting from the pole, however, Kofoid would steal the lead for a few laps, but Macedo was able to slide back out in front, allowing him to win the feature.
2. Michael Kofoid – Strong and Steady Michael Kofoid put on an impressive show, starting his night with a heat win from the pole. In the dash, he started 1st but was outpaced by Macedo, finishing 2nd. In the feature, Kofoid started 2nd and held onto his position throughout, securing a solid 2nd-place finish.
3. Justin Peck – Consistent and Competitive Justin Peck proved his consistency, winning his heat from the pole position. In the dash, he slipped from 3rd to 4th, starting the feature in 4th place. Peck made up ground during the race to claim a 3rd-place finish, completing the podium.
4. David Gravel – Fierce Competitor David Gravel had a night of mixed fortunes. After finishing 2nd in his heat, he started 5th in the dash and advanced to 3rd. He started the feature in 3rd, fought Kofoid for 2nd, but fell back to finish 4th after being overtaken by Justin Peck.
