XR Super Series – Super Late Model – East Alabama 50th Annual National 100
The Super Late Model feature at East Alabama Raceway on November 2, 2024, brought fans an unforgettable night of intense racing action and impressive performances. With a competitive field and plenty of movement throughout the pack, the event kept everyone on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
Ethan Dotson emerged as the night’s big winner, taking the checkered flag after starting in the fourth position. Dotson showed skill and consistency throughout the race, making his way to the front and holding off some tough competition to claim victory.
Tyler Erb put on a fantastic show as well, finishing in second place after starting seventh. Erb’s determination was evident as he battled his way through the field to secure a spot on the podium.
Rounding out the top three was Jonathan Davenport, who began the race in second but ultimately finished third. While he couldn’t hold onto his starting position, Davenport still delivered a solid performance against a talented field.
In fourth place, Mark Whitener maintained a strong pace after starting fifth, while Dennis Erb Jr. delivered a notable drive, moving up five positions from tenth to finish in fifth place.
One of the standout performances of the night came from Cody Overton, who started all the way back in 20th position. Overton charged through the field, passing an incredible 14 cars to finish sixth, earning him the distinction of passing the most competitors in the race.
On the flip side, Garrett Smith faced a tough night after starting on the pole. Despite beginning in the first position, Smith encountered challenges that saw him fall to 20th place by the end, marking the biggest drop of the race with a -19 position change.
With its intense battles and dynamic field movement, the Super Late Model feature at East Alabama Raceway was a night to remember.
